Spring Procurement Forum - Managing Supply Chain Relationships and Procurement Across Borders
The State Procurement Board’s Spring Procurement Forum was held on Wednesday 31 October at the Mayfair Hotel.
This free half day event for Government employees provided the opportunity to hear from three fantastic speakers on the topic of managing supply chain relationships across borders. The forum provided a great opportunity to network with other procurement professionals across government.
- Alexander Coward, Assistant Director, Commonwealth Department of Home Affairs - “the new Modern Slavery bill and what this means in practice for procurement practitioners”
- Peter Millard, Supply Chain Manager, Haighs Chocolate - “managing change in the supply chain at Haighs”
- Chris Miller, Commercial and Contracts Manager, SA Tourism Commission - “procurement across cultures: Chinese brand ambassador case study”.
